Whee

I know.

I know it will never happen again, that saying it aloud jinxes it, and that one should only ever put down negative things about one's child in print, for fear of attracting the evil eye.

I know.

But. . .

The baby girl just did something so amazing and something that I am fairly convinced will never be repeated that I feel compelled to brag: After an extremely fussy day, where I was home alone with her most of the time, a double-digit poop diaper count that led me to google "baby diarrhea," after a 3 AM fight w/ the husband the night before, the baby

1) slept from 10pm to 3am. What? This will never happen again.

and

2) after her 7am feeding, she seemed sleepy, so I put her in her crib in a chest-high swaddle. Where she is still sleeping. An hour later. She self-soothed. It's insane. I am giddy. To celebrate, I did all the dishes, and brushed my teeth. (my celebrations are kind of lame these days)

And rest assured, other boob-bloggers, I know my comeuppance is coming, but I just wanted documentation, so that if someone asked "was it always that bad?" I could say, "Well, there was this one morning . . ."
